Letter from Dr. Bruce Fisher

(Posted with permission from Dr. Fisher)

Dear Amy,

Thank you again for the wonderful Painting on Water program that you recently presented to the IIT Leadership Academy. The program offered a highly engaging and interactive experience that provided our students with an extremely effective platform for learning about teamwork, problem solving, and creativity. Our students truly benefited from development of their “creative confidence.” Further, the BASIC model (i.e., believe, ask, solve, implement, capturing and cheering) provided our students with a solid conceptual framework from which to develop creative solutions.

Your presentation was inspiring to many of our students. Owing to your personable and charismatic style, you were able to connect with the audience and draw them to you. As one participant stated “Amy Lee Segami was a very inspiring speaker. I am very happy I was able to attend this seminar! Incorporating art and effective team participation really made this memorable. I was able to meet new friends and learn some valuable insight into leadership. I can’t wait till’ the next one!!”

Amy, we look forward to having you back for future programs.

Kind regards,
Bruce
