This highly praised interactive program is an innovative application of science and visual art that offers elements of cultural diversity. It is designed by a mechanical engineer and an award-wining artist to engage the mind and the senses in multiple levels.

Education for Innovation

"Breaking Through" is the theme for the inaugural TEDxIIT, a TED like event independently organized by the students at the Illinois Institute of Technology, to be held at IIT, Chicago Downtown campus. All the live speakers are chosen from the Illinois Institute of Technology Community by the students. They ranged from current students, faculty to alumni.

Be part of the history. Click here for details to attend in person from 10 am - 7 pm CST or watch streaming alive, TEDxIIT.com

What does that TEDxIIT have to do with Painting On Water, you ask? Yours truly graduated from IIT with two mechanical engineering degrees. My work was created by blending the knowledge of a science education with my artistic passion.
